Dear National Federations,
Parents of athletes have multiple and often unseen roles, including being their child’s number one fan, taxi driver, nutritionist, and psychologist. They also have a key role in supporting their child to develop as a clean athlete and can positively influence their child’s values and behaviours, which in turn can help to prevent doping.
Therefore, please feel free to share this invitation with all your members, especially parents, athletes, and others who work with athletes to join the webinar “A Parent’s role in clean sport”, offered by our partners at the International Testing Agency (ITA). Tune in to discuss this very important topic with Benjamin Maier, an Olympian in bobsleigh, and his father, Manfred Maier, a bobsleigh and skeleton coach. They will share their experiences and provide practical tips for parents to be an active part of clean sport. At the end of the session, there will be time to answer your questions live.
As always, the webinar will be delivered in English with simultaneous translation to four additional languages – Arabic (العربية), Spanish (español), French (français) and Russian (русский).
